| April 25th 2010- The London Marathon
Martin ran the London Marathon 2010 in aid of the Make a Wish charity, which grants magical wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. For a man who doesn't run, never did a school cross-country because of childhood asthma, and considers a stroll around the shops an over-excertion, this was always going to be a mighty big challenge. But, guess what? Martin finished with his spirits still intact, even if his knees weren't! |

| Martin compared the NDORO childrens Chartiy Fundraising Gala Dinner at the Dorchester Hotel - the first of what will be an annual fundraising signature event for the charity. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness and much needed funds for the Zororo Leadership Academy, an orphanage home, school and clinic for Children in Zimbabwe. Building this school will give 500 children access to education for the first time in the project's first 5 years. |
