As a long time passionate supporter of the NSPCC and Childline, Martin has set up his own charity, The Martin Roberts Foundation, to support educational and well-being initiatives for children and young people.

The Foundation is currently embarking on a campaign to raise sufficient funds through sponsorship and donations to enable the book, ‘Sadsville‘ (written by Martin especially to promote the work of Childline and other charities and organisations to help children) to all 8 & 9 year old  (school Years 4) throughout the country.
